Will of Joseph JACOB (-1728)

Will of Joseph JACOB citizen and Coach Maker and Coach Harness Maker of London make this my Last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say.
I give and devise to my son Joseph JACOB and his heirs all and singular my copyhold messuages lands tenements and hereditaments in Hackney in the County of Middlesex which I lately purchased of William PARKER Esquire.
Item I give unto my loving wife Sarah JACOB one third part of my personal estate according the custom of the city of London.
Item I give unto my said wife fifty pounds for mourning.
Item unto my sons Nathaniel JACOB and the said Joseph JACOB and to my daughter Sarah JACOB being my three children un-advanced in marriage the sum of four hundred pounds apiece.
I give to my honoured mother ten pounds for mourning.
To my brother John JACOB twenty pounds for mourning for him and his family.
To my brother JACOB BIRKHEAD twenty pounds for mourning for him and his family to my nephew John JACOB twenty pounds and to my niece Elizabeth HIND twenty pounds and all the rest and residue of my money leases goods debts and personal estate I give and bequeath unto my five children Nathaniel JACOB, Joseph JACOB, Anne LATIMER wife of Robert LATIMER, Sarah JACOB and Elizabeth PEIRCE [wife of] James PIERCE equally amongst them share and share alike and I make and constitute my said Brother John JACOB and my said son Joseph JACOB executors of this my Last Will and Testament and revoke all former Wills by me made.
