Will of Robert HINDE of Welbor Street (-1797)

I Robert HINDE of Welbor Street in the parish of St Mary Le Bon in the County of Middlesex do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say I give to my sister in Law Mrs Anne HINDE Widow of my late Brother Jacob HINDE fifty pounds for mourning. I likewise give to the Anne HINDE and her daughter Louisa Maria HINDE one thousand pounds of lawful money of Great Britain in Trust to be by them applied to paying off a bond by which my nephew Charles HINDE stands indebted to Mr ROBINSON attorney of Grays Inn. I give to nephew Jacob WHITBREAD son of my late sister Elizabeth WHITBREAD three thousand pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid within three months of my death . I to each of my servants that shall be living with me at the time of my death provided they shall have been 12 calendar months in my service but not otherwise twenty pounds over and above what may be due to them for wages. I give to my niece Louisa Maria HINDE daughter of my late brother Jacob HINDE all the residue of my effects goods monies and estates whatsoever and where so ever after the payment of all my lawful debts funeral expenses and legacies herein bequeathed to her use for ever. And I hereby constitute and appoint my herein named sister in Law Anne HINDE and my aforesaid niece Louisa Maria HINDE joint executrixes of this my Last Will and Testament written all with my own hand the first day of September in the year of our Lord 1793. Appeared personally James SIGGEL of Welbeck Street in the parish of St Mary Le Bon in the County of Middlesex servant and Elizabeth BARROUS of Henrietta Street near Cavendish Square in the said parish St Mary Le Bon in the same county spinster and being severally sworn on the holy evangelists to depose the truth made oath that they knew and were well acquainted with Robert HINDE late of Welbeck Street in the parish of St Mary Le Bon in the County of Middlesex aforesaid, Esquire, deceased, for some time before and to the time of his death and during such their knowledge of and acquaintance with him have seen him

This Will was proved at London the fifteenth day of October in the year our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty eight [1768] before the Right Worshipful George HOY? Also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissionary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Elizabeth HINDE Widow the relict of the deceased and sole executrix named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and credits of the said deceased she having been first sworn duly to administer.
