Letter from the Privy Council, Whitehall, to Sir George More and Laurence Stoughton. – The King desires that Wanborough coppice, the lease of which is in his possession, and other coppices and assart lands late in the possession of Sir Francis Wolley, should be fenced and hedged for their better protection, and Wolley’s lands valued.  LM/COR/4/25  11 Nov 1608
