Born 26 Dec 1825 Bloomsbury, Middlesex, England, married Frances Sophia STRONG. Frances S  was born 1833 Limpsfield, Surrey, died 3 February 1914. Probate London 25 April 1914 to Noel MIDDLETON barrister-at-law.

Educated at Christ Church, Oxford University. BA 1848. MA 1852.  A student of the Inner Temple 13 Jan 1847 (then aged 21), call to the bar 29 Jan 1850 (eldest son of George CHILTON Esq. QC a master of the Bench of the Inner Temple)

Married 3 Feb 1853 Frances Sophia daughter Rev Clement STRONG.

Deacon 1853. Priest 1854.

Curate of Harleston, Norfolk 1853 – 1854.

Curate of Puttenham 1856 – 1859.

On the 1881 Census were living at Orange Grove, Littleton, Artington, Guildford, Surrey.

Vicar of Wanborough 1861 – 1897.

Died 15 November 1917 of Littleton, Guildford. Probate London 17th December 1917 to Noel MIDDLETON barrister and John Evans BIDWELL land agent
