As a result of your representations on the matter, the allowance was afterwards paid, together with the arrears that had accumulated since August 4th 1914, the date of the vessels internment. About 8 weeks ago, the allowance was again stopped, but was paid after correspondence had passed between ourselves and the firm concerned although no justification was adduced of their action in the matter of the stoppage.
